High School Student Needs Grammar Help and This Book Will Help Him

This is a terrific book for my tutee who is just entering high school. From kindergarten through the sixth grade, he was in ESL classes in which the teachers and aides spoke Spanish to him. He is now is desperate need of help in his English oral and composition skills. This book will certainly help.

This book provides a creative way to get students to recognize the importance and impact of sentence variety. I haven't used it in class yet, but I read through it this summer, and I'm anxious to use it once I know the foundational grammar concepts are set.

I was so excited to purchase this book, along with Paragraphs for Middle School. Sadly, there was no online teacher's guide as promised in the product description. I could understand omitting it if the book was used, but it was new. Any chance of supplying it?
