I expected to know how to carry out basic plumbing repairs after reading this book but bad illustrations, confused text and design didn't enable me to accomplish this task, this book can be used as general reference only, not to be used as a practical know how guide!!

A great value for the money. You can save on plumbing bills, but if you are clueless don't go to your Home Depot store and ask the plumbing associate how to do the work. Hire a plumber.
