can i guy catch a break

interesting world great cast well written but can a guy catch a break. i would be nice if Mik and Ash could just have a few moments of time together and just be. the are dragged from nightmare to nightmare with almost no time to grow together. Mik is relegated to almost no entity in the follow up but it was great to spend time with Ash a much more sympithetic and likable protagonist. I will look forward to the next edition but not giving anything away i could not be more upset with the ending. there is cliff hangers and then there is is just plan how much more can you beat these guys up again. give us the reader and the guys a chance to spend time together instead of just ripping them too and fro. having said that buy this and the the first one well worth the read time and teeth gnashing frustrating lack of relationship development.

Second in a great series

This is the second book in Daniel Kaine's Daeva series and the plot and the angst both get deeper and deeper. I am really enjoying this series. It is very well written and I like that it's an excellently crafted world and paranormal story. The love story is of central importance but but the plot doesn't exist just to support the romance. There could be main characters who are not lovers and the story would still hold up. Highly recommended for lovers of well-written vampire tales. I'm anxiously awaiting the third book.

A Delightful Series That Helps Children Understand Life's Challenges!

Each book in this delightful series brings much to offer to each reader, depending on what they are looking for. If You Love Me So Much touches on the topic of understanding. How can a parent love you if you have to do things that you don't want to do like brushing your teeth, doing your homework, or chores? Readers will soon understand that it is because a parent loves you so much that they have you do those things, to not only take care of yourself, but to help you grow.

In the story Under The Tree a boy thinks that he is lost only to find out that he is exactly where he's supposed to be. Children, at times, get confused and don't understand the bigger picture that is set before them. Children will be able to learn how to take a step back and look at things from a different perspective. When they do, everything becomes clear.

With You Always is a story about loss. It is hard enough for an adult to understand the loss of a loved one, but for a child, it is most difficult to understand. This story is one that readers should read to their child when the loss of a loved one occurs. It is a tear jerker, especially in the end, but it does help a child understand that a loved one who dies is never really gone, they are always with us in our hearts.

Danielle has created this amazing series for children of all ages, to help them understand various problems that can occur during their life. Parents will love the extra information in the back of each book to help the parent discuss the topic more completely.

This story is another heartwarming story parents will love!

Sweet, endearing, and relevant!

My kids and I love to read this book! It is very sweet and fun to read as it rhymes and has a good rhythm to it! The boy learns a valuable lesson about why his parents "make him" do certain things (brush his teeth, go to bed, etc.). He questions his parents' motives, but realizes it's because they love him! When I read this book to my kids, they are reminded that I am not just "barking orders" at them, but I am asking them to do things because I love them and have their best interest in mind! It makes a difference in their attitude and they are constantly reminded that I love them!
I would recommend this book to all young kids - not only those who are resistant to chores, but any child will love hearing that their parents do things because they love them, and not "just because". The book is beautifully written and illustrated, and my kids often choose it at bedtime! It's a favorite in our house!

A sweet book perfect for bedtime.

This is the story of a little boy who asks the age old question that all children ask, "If you love me so much, why do you make me do things I don't want to do?" Things like eating vegetables, going to bed, brushing hair. All the things parents want their children to do. The parents answer the boy's question, "Because we love you."
It is written in a lyrical style that will give a warm cozy feeling when read at bedtime. The author is a family therapist and she has approached the story from a deep and satisfying inner logic. I read the book to my grandson and he quickly decided it was his favorite.
The illustrations are beautifully done, in watercolor. The colors are bright but not garish, in keeping with the lyrical writing.
I highly recommend this as a bed-time book for children ages 3-9.

This book has been an amazing blessing.Cindy Trimm exposes who the enemy is and how he operates. Her book has taught me how to pray "in the meantime" while waiting on prayer to manifest. I learned that my motives have the power to determine whether my offerings are blessed and prayers are answered, and how to deal with my heart issues and fix my motives. I have put the methods in this book into practice and God has shown me that I can truly depend on Him. God truly does answer righteous prayer. It is our most powerful weapon against and enemy who wants to kill steal and destroy our lives. This is a study and is not a light read.

Firstly, let me begin by stating that anything by Dr. Cindy Trimm is always amazing, she is one of the most articulate speakers and writers in the nations today. This book is a culmination of the three previous volumes on the rules of engagements as well an extensive and exorbitant amount of advice and wisdom concerning the Kingdom of God, The Kingdom of Darkness and prayer and spiritual warfare.
If you have all of the other books, you NEED this one (in it she provides alot of information not contained within the other volumes (though they also contain alot of revelation)
If you do not understand prayer and spiritual warfare then THIS IS THE BOOK for you. Within the pages of this book, Dr. Trimm will teach and train you to become a warrior and an indomitable force in prayer and spiritual warfare (I can testify that this is what happened to me)
GET THIS BOOK, it is an EXCELLENT addition to your prayer arsenal

A Royal Romance

Her Royal Masquerade is a fun escapist read. A great little romance that is perfect for an afternoon at the beach or pool.

One of the best parts of this book was the look-a-like cousins who sometimes exchange places. It reminded me of the Patty Duke Show! It also reminded me a bit of Cinderella--the poor, hardworking family member who lives in the shadows but is ultimately acknowledged by Prince Charming.

A delight for fans of traditional romance with a little spice.

Looking for a totally unrealistic guilty pleasure read? Then Natasha Moore's Her Royal Masquerade is just for you.

Her Royal Masquerade is book one in Ms. Moore's Royal Romance Series and while at times it was just over the top, in general it was a love story like many of us dream of. Not that I have had dreams of finding my Prince anymore...

Mia Holmberg is a commoner with royal relatives. Her aunt married the king of their country. Born a week apart from the royal princess, she has always been second best to the princess. Although they look alike, their personalities are completely different. Mia is warm, generous school teacher and Birgitte is, cold, selfish and totally irresponsible. But when Brigitte calls and asks Mia to attend a ball in the Mediterranean country of Mezzano, as Birgitte, Mia caves one last time.

Prince Vittorio needs a bride and he wants to be married before his father died. With the King's health failing, time is running short. Smitten by a glance of Birgitte at a party he decides to make a marriage alliance. While Brigitte has a reputation as an ice princess, he isn't looking fir love, he's looking for an alliance. But when "Birgitte" shows up at his father's birthday party, he finds a warm woman who charms everyone in sight. But when Vittorio discovers the deception, he wants revenge. Kidnapping Mia and forcing her to become his mistress. Just until Birgitte can be found.

See, totally unrealistic.. But the romance sweeps you away and the fantasy makes you smile.

Vittorio has so much passion:
"We have to talk." He drew her across the floor and out the door. The evening air hadn't cooled at all. Neither had he. He couldn't even remember the words he'd planned to say, the logical argument he'd prepared.
This time when when she pulled out of his embrace it was with surprising force. She whirled around to face him. "What do we have to talk about now?"
"You. In my bed. Tonight."
Mia that girl isn't one for holding her feelings, but she does it so lady like when she speaks her mind I was in awe, "no, Vittorio. I don't know this man you are now. You weren't cruel when I met you before.Yes, you were seductive and I must admit I fell for your charm. But you would never have kept me here against my will, I'm certain of it." I didn't really like seeing the cruel side of Vittorio, "I don't have to like you to enjoy sex with you." As if to prove it, Vittorio snaked his arm around her waist and yanked her to him. His erection pressed into her hip. "Even knowing that you lie without compunction, I am still hard for you." I mean seriously when Mia is around all the boy thinks about is sex, "very well." His hot gaze swept over her. "You can simply take off those clothes and dine naked with me. It is what a proper mistress would do." But it's not all fun and games when people's feelings are concerned, "he placed a brief, wet kiss on her lips. Her heart raced. "I don't want you to go. Stay. You can keep you clothes. I will buy you a beautiful house with a garden to dig in to your heart's content." Yea Vittorio every woman wants to come second to your wife, you're so great with words and women. I was pleased with the ending, and I actually just realized I had already read the second book in the series HAHA.

Naughty But Nice

Michael Broderick is not only an excellent draughtsman and illustrator (and artist!), he also has an inventive mind and is able to take an idea and play it for all its worth. This is no ordinary alphabet book by any means. This is most assuredly an adult themed book. G IS FOR GROUNDSKEEPER takes the reader through the alphabet, yes, but as is fairly obvious from the cover, this is a tale about a groundskeeper in a college full of young handsome men. Every page, as a letter is introduced, is the first letter of one of the student's or fellow worker's names, and each character (sometimes several at a time) is introduced into the myriad aspects of physical gratification. This groundskeeper qualifies as a professor of fantasy realizations!

There are 26 good reasons to buy this book: For every letter of the alphabet Broderick presents a drawing full of sex and fantasy; the groundkeeper helps young, athletic students to discover the joys of sex and satisfaction. Doesn't sound like a philosophic stroke of genius? Well, that might be true, but Broderick's charming and colorful pictures want nothing more than to entertain and make you horny. Fun, but not exactly what I thought

Fun color drawings of students with the groundskeeper is all the positions of the alphabet. Lots of details to laugh over. However, I thought there would be a different fantasy for each letter. So, A is for accountant, and P is for priest, etc. Instead, A is for Alex, B is for Bobby, etc. Still, very well done and light hearted fun.

Michael Broderick is at the top of his consistently excellent game with G is for Groundskeeper

Michael Broderick is the gold standard for gay erotic artwork, as far as I am concerned. But equally outstanding are his storytelling skills. Never was the term "A picture is worth a thousand words" more appropriately used than in reference to Michael's paintings and drawings. Each of the illustrations is worth savoring, and says so very much in the expressions on the men's faces. I feel as though there is at least a short story's worth of material on every page. And, let's face it, each and every scene is smoking hot in it's portrayal of two men in the throes of lovemaking. If I could give this book 6 stars, I would. Michael Broderick is at the top of his consistently excellent game with G is for Groundskeeper. I am eagerly awaiting his next book. He can't write and draw it fast enough for my tastes!
